Return Policy

Rainbo Sports will gladly give refunds for merchandise returned within 30 days of initial purchase.
After 30 days until 60 days of initial purchase, we will accept returns for store credit.
No returns are accepted for items returned after 60 days of purchase.

Please include a copy of the invoice. Refunds will be made to the credit card of the original purchase. A credit memo will be mailed to you confirming the return.

If you choose to return an item to us, you are responsible for the return postage. The most cost effective way is via the US Post Office.

Please note: We cannot provide credit or a refund for merchandise that has been worn, washed or used, boots that have been mounted, closeout or custom items. Tights will not be accepted once opened. You must include all packaging with the tags intact and attached to the garment. If items are returned without original packaging and tags or have been visibly worn, we reserve the right to not accept the return.

If you receive damaged or incorrect items, please call us within 7 business days of receipt of the order. Please call us with any questions at 800-752-8370.

Exchange Policy

If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, color, etc, we would be happy to exchange it for you. Send the item back to us with instructions for the exchange, we will pay the shipping back to you on the first exchange. You are responsible for the postage on the sending the item back to us.

Consignment Policy

We accept used boots and blades to be sold on consignment. At the time that you provide your used product, Rainbo Sports will assess its condition and likelihood that we will sell the product. Rainbo Sports will advise you of the amount that you could possibly receive. The actual amount you receive will be determined by the final selling price. At any time, Rainbo Sports may refuse to accept boots and blades for sale on consignment.

We are currently accepting good condition Riedells and Jacksons from kids' sizes up to ladies' size 7 in medium and wide widths all levels. If you have any question regarding the condition of the skates, email us a digital picture and we will let you know if the skates are right for consignment.

Once a boot and blade are sold on consignment, you will be notified of the sale of your merchandise and be asked to call in to confirm your information and claim the store credit or monies due.

Rainbo will attempt to sell all consignment boots and blades for up to one year. After one year and in the event that your boot or blade does not sell, you will be notified to arrange to have your boots and blades picked up. In the event that you do not arrange to have the consignment boots and blades picked up, they become property of Rainbo Sports. Rainbo Sports reserves the right to donate unclaimed items to a local charity.

If you are interested in sending in your skates for sale on consignment, please download the Consignment Agreement and send it in with your skates. (The PDF file will open automatically in the current window. Right click the link and save to a location on your computer if you want to print it later.) You will receive a copy back in the mail with the tag number(s) assigned to your merchandise.

Privacy Policy

We recognize that as a customer you are placing your trust in Rainbo Sports. We are committed to respecting your privacy and the security of your personal information. This is an important responsibility that we take very seriously. Our privacy policy, updated on October 10, 2003, describes the information we collect and how we use it.

We request information from you (including name, address, telephone number, email address and, when necessary, credit card information) when you:

  • Place an order from our catalog or on our Web site
  • Make a purchase at our Retail Store
  • Return an item or make an exchange
  • Request a catalog

  • Enter a contest or sweepstakes

Using Information We Collect
At Rainbo Sports, we always want to provide you with the best possible shopping experience and fulfill your orders exactly as you've requested. In order to do this, we collect information that allows us to:

  • Send you catalogs or promotional offers we believe will be of interest to you
  • Identify your product and service preferences
  • Customize our communications to you

Information We Share with Others
We contract with other companies to provide certain services, including credit card processing, shipping, email distribution, market research and promotions management. We provide these companies with only the information they need to perform their services and work closely with them to ensure that your privacy is respected and protected. These companies are prohibited by contract from using this information for their own marketing purposes or from sharing this information with anyone other than Rainbo Sports.

We DO NOT sell our customer list to outside parties for marketing purposes or provide private customer information to any other organization unless the customer has asked us to do so.

On rare occasions, we may disclose specific information upon governmental request, in response to a court order, or when required by law to do so. We may also share information with companies assisting in fraud protection or investigation. We do not provide information to these agencies or companies for marketing or commercial purposes.

How We Use Email
When you provide us your email address, we may send you emails necessary to process your order or respond to a request. For example, after you place an order at rainbosports.com, you will receive an email confirmation and, in most cases, an email with package tracking information. You may also, on occasion, receive a customer satisfaction survey by email, so that we can make sure we are doing a good job serving your needs.

On occasion, you may also receive promotional email from us.

Security
It is our intent to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you. We use a variety of current technologies and processes for protection of our customer data. We limit the information we provide to outside companies with whom we contract to only what they need to carry out their responsibilities.

Policy Changes
From time to time, we may use customer information for unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change, we will post these changes on our Web site. We encourage you to review our privacy policy periodically.
